The evolution of the Swedish menswear label started when Per Andersson, today creative director, together with a couple of friends opened the deadstock store Nostalgi in 1997 and later in 2002 took the step towards designing their own collection, offering replicas of iconic garments. Today we aim for a well dressed and sustainable look that is in tune with time.Since 2002 Velour by Nostalgi has had the ambition to challenge the classic menswear conventions with expertise and materials from the best factories worldwide. We aim to add life to your wardrobe by offering updated fabrics and design. By collaborating with some of our time most inspiring Creative Minds, we add life to the brand.

SS17 - A NEW CHANCE

For SS17 Velour by Nostalgi are developing a range of sustainable SVANEN* branded denim
and chinos in addition to our collection of reliable and popular collection of trousers,
linnen shirts, coats and blazers.
The collection name “A New Chance” name has a double meaning and rhymes with Velour by Nostalgi
inspiration for SS17 collection but also means that Velour by Nostalgi as a brand takes a new chance to care
about our enviroment and push forward as a value driven brand.
The music video for “A New Chance” by The Tough Alliance is the foundation
for the inspiration and look that will promote Velour Collection SS17.
