We have now launched jeans made locally in Sweden under the brand lokalt by velour. We did this because we saw the potential in the many refugees who have come to Sweden recently and their experience in jeans manufacturing.
In this way, we build faith and hope by allowing them to use their knowledge and skills in Sweden as well. We call them the artisans of our time.
We deliver the jeans within 2-3 weeks and do not build up any stock.
The idea is to get used to planning your purchase, learn to appreciate the craftsmanship and switch to slow fashion.
The goal is to create as many job opportunities as possible for refugees with experience in jeans manufacturing.
The quality is amazing.
We only use exclusive fabrics from Candiani mill from Italy and our artisans are very skilled.
We have developed a regular laundry in Sweden to become Sweden's first denim laundry.
